Watching my precious family films, some dating back to the '50s on my new DVD player, brought back happy memories of setting up my projector and screen in my parents' old house. It gave them many a laugh to see themselves up on the silver screen. I wonder what they would have said had they still been with us today.

Many thanks for converting our Super 8 film from the late 60s and early 70s to DVD in October 2005.

We made ten copies for family members and included them alongside Christmas presents.

Thanks Philip, they arrive on Thursday. I must say I had been on tenterhooks awaiting them and also keeping the project totally secret from my wife. Anyway, she was delighted with it all and we have been watching the VHS stuff. I have just ordered a digital camcorder and hopefully will be able to put the films on to my PC and edit them in the near future.

The quality of what you have done looks very good--pity about some of the filming!!

The DVD and VHS transfers arrived here in France this morning. If possible I would like another VHS for an old mate in Wales.

Thanks for doing an excellent transfer as this film has not seen the light of day for 50 years. I thought it might have disintegrated.

Hello again,

Thanks so much for the last lot of film you transferred to VHS, it was amazing. I got to see long-lost footage of myself as a baby which was really incredible! I converted it to mpg & posted it onto Google Video so my Dad in Australia could watch them over the Internet. He was so thrilled he went back through his attic and mailed me over another box worth of film!

So, I need to have some more converted... it is rather a lot more than last time.
